YES!!
You both are correct.
My son had to point it out to me a few days ago, as well.
I was embarrassed that I couldn't see it until the wholly obvious was pointed out by a 13-year-old. |

I agree with BuffBum, she's out and down almost as soon as the clip is opened; you see her for about 2 seconds. |

I see her.
By pausing and playing it looks to me the Q being heavy drops on to the top of the top bar as soon as the trap is opened (14:13) and then can be seen climbing down into the hive.
Magic.
