Inevitably, there are a few typos - thanks to Ray Saunders for spotting those I missed.

Most are simple typing errors, but three may cause some confusion:

1. p 147 under Installing a Swarm: Indirect Method, points 2 and 3 are reversed. (Add bars before you put the basket in your car...)

2. p 310 there is a photo missing of a 'feeder bar'. I don't have a suitable photo at present, but what is referred to is simply a standard top bar with three or four 15mm holes drilled through it, near the centre, to allow bees to move through in order to access a feeder or lump of fondant placed above.

3. I omitted the letter C from the key on p15. It should read as follows:

: = queen excluder (QX)
B = brood (mainly worker brood)
C = queen cell, sealed
D = drone (mainly drone brood)
e = entrance, in use
(e) = entrance, closed
E = empty comb or empty bar
F = feeder (end or top)
H = honey stores (may have some unsealed stores)
N = nectar (may have some sealed honey)
P = pollen (comb with significant pollen stores)
Q = queen (laying mother present)
-Q = queen-less (no laying mother present)
q = virgin queen
TBH = generic top bar hive
hTBH = horizontal top bar hive
vTBH = vertical top bar hive

If anyone spots any additional errors, other than displaced letters, please post below.

Just started 2 TBh on 7th May. Had to chop/crop 2 nucs, but all seem settled now. Continue to be mesmerized as I watch several times a day. But this is not my purpose for writing.
As I read through the various sections of BB II, attempting to stay ahead and be ready for 'things to come' I have a question about the diagram notation key on page 216, under the section titled 'The Two Queen System'. At each end of the diagram there is a 'follower'; moving in from each end there is the notation N B Q B B N (mirror image at the other end), here there is a notation for a second follower 'l', should this be a Queen excluder noted thus ':'?
Should the diagram read <l>?
Of course this whole thing could just be an indication of fast approaching senility on my part.
